I'm too high maintenance for it--a night without a blow dryer is my idea of roughing it.Sadakohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01164802394129505587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-270966642800942088.post-56774730541052082122010-07-30T13:45:07.364-07:002010-07-30T13:45:07.364-07:00Oooh! My absolute necessities are the sleeping bag (have a couple of different ones, depending on season), an iinflatable mattress (a cheapo one from MEC in Canada that's awesome), my camping pillow (yes, they make them now - it takes no room at all!), and of course - the most important piece of all - my very comfortable backpack, since I never do car camping, only the kind that involves hiking and the rugged outdoors ;)

I prefer sleeping in what we call a "wind shelter" rather than a tent, but this week we'll be in a tent - a 4-man tent for the 3 of us :)

Hope you have a good week Annie!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-270966642800942088.post-23005660516693506802010-07-21T12:58:15.792-07:002010-07-21T12:58:15.792-07:00I'm a hotel gal. So I agree they're a good investment -- why deal with the uneven, hard ground when you don't have to?Cookbookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02537547805660711981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-270966642800942088.post-54874799290224121192010-07-18T20:18:09.293-07:002010-07-18T20:18:09.293-07:00Right now I'm "dorm" camping.
