I just flashed back to when my son was in middle school. They did the junior production of Music Man, and he played the Buddy Hackett/ Marcus character, and sang Shipoopie on stage!
Aww, when I was in middle school we had to endure Bye Bye Birdie. That sounds much cooler! Although I can't decide if a 12-year old singing "A woman who'll kiss on the very first date is usually a hussy" is hilarious or disturbing.
