Is there a cure for garlic breath?

So I made some awesome tzatziki yesterday. But I didn't roast the garlic like I usually do. Normally I put in a whole head of roasted garlic, but this batch I was lazy and just put in two cloves of fresh...

Matt called home tonight while I was working, and apparently he discovered a new bar. They have been open for four days and pour their drinks STRONG.

The upshot is, I come home after two drinks and pound down a pile of chips and tzatziki before bed. But HOW can I make the garlic flavor in my mouth go away now? I don't dislike it intrinsically, but I am dead tired and still a little bit buzzed, and I don't want to mix that garlic taste with the flavor of toothpaste...

So, for future reference, WHAT DO I DO?!

Chew some fennel?
Some anise?

No basis whatever for these recommendations, but toothpaste may be a welcome reprieve after these!

Try chewing parsley.

I eat tons of garlic. My friends/family know that me having garlic breath is pretty much a given :D

Drink lemonade. You need to make the real stuff, from actual lemons, but lemon wipes out most everything.

The problem may not be breath, though. Garlic exudes through your skin, and that, you just have to live with.

What to do about garlic breath? Eeeeaasyy one. Snuggle up and be happy that you are married and that you don't have to worry about it. :)

Looks like I'm making some lemonade to clear the taste of all the herbs I'm chewing...

Z - it's on Arlington, across from the Chocolate Bar and towards downtown - I guess it was a bookstore for a while but it's a little old bungalow with lots of little rooms and a big porch and Matt wants to get the band a gig there...
